I write a lot about writing on this blog. On a regular basis I try to cover each of my three writing specialties: copywriting, technical writing, and blogging.
If you happen to be a writer, you probably find all that talk about writing interesting. If you’re not a writer, though, you might just be a bored by it all.
Writing is not just for writers, though. Good writing can be used in many ways. Words are, in fact, quite powerful. Consider the following 12 uses for good writing. Good writing can:
- Convict
- Educate
- Encourage
- Entertain
- Incite
- Inform
- Inspire
- Instruct
- Influence
- Persuade
- Reconcile
- Sell
It’s quite an impressive list, isn’t it? I’ll bet you didn’t realize how powerful good writing really is. So, even if you’re not all that interested in good writing…trust me, you need it.
