Today marks the beginning of a week at WritingThoughts devoted to concerns and issues related to working at home. Since many freelance writers (including myself) are also work at home moms (WAHMs), this week should be fun and informative. (If you are not a WAHM, please stay tuned. WritingThoughts will return to our normal discussion about writing next week.)
Here is the WAHM week schedule (links will become active as articles are posted):
- Monday: WAHM Week is Here, How I Became a WAHM (My Story)
- Tuesday: Things to Consider Before You Freelance, Interview with Gayla McCord: Successful Blogger and WAHM
- Wednesday: Tips to Carve Out Work Time Without Ignoring The Kids, Book Review of Christina Katz’s Writer Mama How to Raise a Writing Career Alongside Your Kids
- Thursday: Interview with Mommy Space’s Wendy Lindsey, Book Review of Good Kids Bad Habits by Jennifer Trachtenberg
- Friday: Great Resources for WAHMs, WAHM Hazards to Avoid
So, whether you are currently a WAHM, want to be a WAHM, or are just curious a about WAHMs–stay tuned! As you can see, we’ve got a great week ahead! (I reserve the right to add features.)

It’s incredible… I was just “on my way” to your blog when I “caught” you on mine. 🙂 You know, these topics are useful for all “work at home†freelancers. I’ll stay tuned anyway.

Yes, it’s always helpful to me when I read about how other WAHMs are doing this!
