There are three things currently going on in the blogosphere that might be of interest to writers.
- Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month). Are you participating? I’m not, for this year at least, but I know that a lot of you are. If this is something that you’re currently taking part in why don’t you leave a comment so that we (the readers and I) can drop by your blog and encourage you.
- Michael Stelzner’s Writing White Papers blog is looking for the ten best blogs for writers. Stop by and register your own vote, or just check out some of the writing blogs that have been nominated.
- Robert Hruzek’s Group Writing Project is back at Middle Zone Musings. If you find yourself wondering what to blog about between now and Sunday you just might want to give this a try. It’s also a great way to promote your blog.

Hello, Laura, I’ve been enjoying your site so much this evening. I see you did not mention NaBloPoMo, “National Blog Posting Month,” which is also for the month of November. Some have speculated it was created as an excuse not to do NaNoWriMo! However, all you have to do is write a post to your blog(s) everyday for the month. It doesn’t sound too strenuous but… 🙂
I like the enhanced networking effect and exploration that it’s engendered. The home site and network is set up so exceedingly well, a mini-social media network from Nov 1 onward. I don’t think it’s to late to begin — the spirit of the thing and all that. 🙂

First of all, thanks for delurking! I hope to hear a lot more from you. Honestly, I had not heard of NaBloPoMo until you posted. I take Sundays off for family time, so I wouldn’t be eligible (but, can you prepost?)

Well, I’m not sure if there’s time. I do have the regular “Of Note” column coming tomorrow and I really try not to interfere too much with family time on the weekends. We’ll see.
